They have the immediate requirement for an Engineering Manager, to minimise engineering risk and to provide engineering support in the bidding stages and through the life cycle of projects to provide advice to asset and concession companies in the rail sectors.

Professional Profile
Chartered Engineer with substantial multi-disciplinary experience
Experience of undertaking and managing a number of the following activities including:
Design of rail projects (essential)
Risk management including quantified risk assessment techniques
Construction including site practices and contract management
Testing and commissioning
Project documentation and procedures
Operations including HMI ergonomics and training
Maintenance including safety documentation and procedures
System modification and change control

Personal Characteristics
Good written and verbal communication
Knowledge of engineering legislation, regulations and guidance including health and safety, IEC 61508 and Health Technical Memoranda
Well organised
Driving licence
Sound commercial awareness
Software competence including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
